SDFI®-TeleMedicine to Conquer New Territory

At the Health Care Compliance Association Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada

BOULDER CITY, NV – APRIL 11, 2016 – There will be a booth of newbies at this year’s Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) Conference, April 17 – 20, 2016, at the Aria in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Booth T20 will house SDFI®-TeleMedicine, a Boulder City, Nevada-based company, who is looking to take the health care compliance sector by storm with their forensic photoducumentation system solutions.

“Currently, there are compliance issues where some healthcare workers out in the field use unsecured methods, like cell phones, for example, to photo document patient progress. Another issue is getting patients access to health care treatments within rural areas and training health care workers to become photographers. Our system lets these field workers document patient progress for Medicaid, Medicare and private plans, easily and securely,” SDFI’s Cathy Price says.

SDFI-TeleMedicine, which has been in business since 2001, is attending this conference in order to provide solutions to these, and other compliance-related issues, through their user-friendly, extremely portable “Shoot, Store and Send” system.

“SDFI-TeleMedicine provides a fully-labeled, easy-to-use, portable photodocumentation solution which contains software, security and an asynchronous secure file portal,” explains Price. “Healthcare field workers can easily shoot high-resolution images and video, store these files securely on their own laptop or network, then transfer the data to anyone in the world, none of whom need the company’s software in order to view the files they have received.”

“Hospital workers can also use SDFI-TeleMedicine products to photo document investigations such as Patient Safety, Employee Safety, Workers’ Compensation and Quality of Patient Care,” adds Price.

Conference attendees will have the opportunity to try hands-on demonstrations of SDFI’s Standard Camera System and Contrast Camera System - one of SDFI’s newer systems - which allows high-resolution pictures and video to be captured in the Ultraviolet Dark™.

-MORE-

Besides their “Camera Systems”, SDFI also offers the Store and Send System, which contains SDFI’s Image Management Software* for users who already have their own cameras, enabling them to encrypt and store documents and photos on their own networks and computers, then electronically secure and send them to recipients. Military medical personnel will have peace of mind, knowing SDFI is CoN Certified. Standard and Contrast “Add-On” options are available as well, allowing current SDFI clients to build their own SDFI System environments.

*SDFI’s Image Management Software – which is included with every full SDFI Camera System – allows users to view their photos with SDFI forensic software tools like the SDFI Negative Invert Filter. When utilized, this filter helps users to see subtle details in an image that would otherwise be missed. The software’s Loupe Tool, enables the System user to see an area of interest at one-hundred percent, allowing for incredible detailed viewing.
